A native of Panamá, Ilda Mason is an actress currently based in New York City. She recently made her feature film debut as Luz in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story. Her acting career began in Panamá on theatre productions such as Peter Pan, A Chorus Line and Hello Dolly among others; she won Panamá’s Dancing with the Stars’ second season and after earning her bachelor’s degree in Structural Architecture, Ilda moved to New York City to fulfill her passion for acting.  Her favorite musical is West Side story, which she has had the joy to be a part of four times, her latest while making her Broadway debut in Ivo Van Hove’s 2020 revival. Even though she studied architecture as a plan B, she has realized there is no such thing. This is IT and she’s ready for more.
